Vitsaras Stones Co. is the evolution of Lefka Marmara S.A. which acts in the field of marble since 1978. Initially, the company began its act as a processing – alteration unit of ornamental stones focused on the local market of Crete. The company used to taking on projects, which, besides the processing of the marbles also demands their fitting by specialized group of fitters.
By the time, the company established in the field of marbles, acquiring positive fame, presenting simultaneously significant development. This development leaded to the broadening of the company’s prospects, while besides the retail entered vigorously the wholesale. Thus, in 2000, the company, in parallel with the alteration unit, creates a cutting unit of raw marble blocks, targeting to marble retailers, both in Crete and also in the rest of Greece.
The supply of the raw marble blocks from quarries in Greece and mainly abroad is being done in quantities capable to maintain a competitive price level. This fact gives new impulse and potential to Vitsaras Stones Co., proving this with the increase of the sales network in Greece and abroad.
